…If that isn’t incentive enough to make you part with your money then I don’t know what is. I will be honest: I’m not a big fan of games that have content held back and only allowing you to access or “unlock” said-content by purchasing a separate product. However, provided Ignition turns out to be a great little game then I would personally be able to overlook this little… niggle of mine. I’m really hoping Ignition isn’t going to be priced insanely high – as seems to be the trend with DLC nowadays.
Those of you who play Modern Warfare 2 will have no doubt witnessed first hand just needlessly high DLC can be priced nowadays; the two multiplayer map packs being prime examples of this. I’m optimistic that Visceral Games will see fit to ensure that Ignition will not only be bursting at the seams with great content, but will also be priced fairly. That’s if they have their say anyway, it is ultimately up to Microsoft and Sony to determine what they believe would be appropriate pricing for this “game”.
